These Terms and Conditions (the “Terms”) govern the use of the website tavernkeep.app(the “Service”) and the relationship with the tavernkeep team (“we”, “our”, “ours”, and “us”).
1. account, eligibility and user data
Most aspects of the Service require that you register an account. We use the third-party authentication provider (Clerk). To register an account you must use one of the sign-in methods made available through the third-party authentication provider, which currently include Google and Discord. The third-party's terms and conditions may not reflect ours. Please review the applicable terms and conditions and privacy policies of third-party authentication providers.
You are responsible for maintaining the security and confidentiality of your account. Additionally, you agree to be liable for all activities conducted under your account.
By registering an account, you confirm that you are older than the age of consent in your country/region or have a parent/guardian's consent; and that your use of the Service will not result in the violation of a law, rule, or regulation, and/or these Terms; and that you will not share, sell, transfer, or allow any other person to access your account. A breach of any of these terms will result in the termination of your account.
2. free service
The Service is currently provided for free. You gain access to the Service when you create an account. Features may change over time, and we may add, remove, limit, or modify any part of the Service.
3. user content
3.1 Ownership
You retain ownership of all content created and uploaded to the Service, including (but not limited to) messages, text, images, artwork, pictures, screenshots, audio, and graphics.
3.2 Licence to us
By uploading, posting, or submitting your content to the Service, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to host, store, reproduce, process, modify as technically necessary, display, and distribute your content within the Service for the sole and restricted purpose of operating the Service in accordance with your settings. We do not claim ownership of your content, and we will not use it outside the purposes described in these Terms.
3.3 Your responsibilities
You ensure that all content uploaded, posted, or submitted is of your ownership and/or authorship and all the rights for such content are under your control or you otherwise have the right to upload, post, or submit the content to the Service. You ensure that all content uploaded, posted, or submitted does not violate any law, rule, or regulation. You ensure that all content uploaded, posted, or submitted is not harmful, threatening, abusive, defamatory, harassing, tortious, libelous, pornographic or sexually explicit, harmful to minors, or that otherwise infringes on the rights of others.
3.4 Monitoring
We do not pre-screen content uploaded, posted, or submitted, but we reserve the right to review stored content for the sole purpose of deleting or editing content that violates any law, rule, regulation, and/or these Terms.
4. intellectual property and third-party content
The Service, its design, branding, and code belong solely and exclusively to us.
References to third-party content terms are used for compatibility and descriptive purposes only. We do not claim ownership of any third-party content whose terms are referenced in the Service.

5. availability and data
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”. We do not guarantee uninterrupted, error-free access to the Service. Partial or complete data loss is possible, and you are responsible for keeping backups of your data. We are not liable for the loss of any content.
6. terms updates or changes
These Terms may be updated, altered, amended, or modified in the future. If changes are significant, we will make reasonable efforts to notify users.
If you do not accept any changes to these Terms in the future, you must terminate your account. Continued use of the Service after notice of changed Terms will mean you accept these changes.
